I chose to write a comparison essay on Flannery OConnors A mature Man is Hard to Find and William Faulkners bacillus combustion. The Grandmother, in A Good Man Is Hard to Find, is an gray-haired woman with antique ideas and manners. She considers herself to be a good person, but she is too precise selfish and manipulative. The Grandmother is constantly try to count on the familys vacation and tell them what to do. She feels that she knows best because she is old and wise.
